Outside of work, Dr. Palmer enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family.

She has helped patients through life’s most joyful and challenging health experiences and is an advocate for using technology to enhance care—without losing the human touch.
Dr. Srinivasa earned her medical degree from Boston University and a Master’s in Health Care Innovation from the University of Pennsylvania. She’s received awards for patient experience and medical education.
When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, traveling with her family, and running (slowly!).

No referral is needed. You can book directly with our doctors.
Yes, Defiant can work with your current primary care doctor or other specialists (such as a gynecologist) to help coordinate your care throughout the process. If you don’t have a primary care doctor, we can still help you.
Yes. We accept most health insurance plans, including Medicare and most commercial plans. However, Defiant Health is unable to offer services to people in HMO health plans. If you’re unsure whether your insurance plan is accepted, reach out to us at support@defianthealth.com.
Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for a co-pay, coinsurance, or deductible, which will be billed at the time of your visit. Typically you will have one to two visits with a Defiant physician.
We work with self-pay patients; our cash rate is a $99 consultation fee and a $299 fee for expedited imaging and coordination, immediate access to expert physicians, and white glove support. We can also help you find the most cost-effective options for imaging and follow-up care in your area.
Yes, the diagnostic service offered by Defiant Health is considered an eligible medical expense that can be paid for using FSA and HSA dollars.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute partnered in founding Defiant because they believes that all patients deserve timely access to expert diagnosis. Dana-Farber powers Defiant through access to best practices and clinical protocols that inform Defiant’s diagnostic process.
No. Imaging and testing are billed separately, usually through your insurance. We work with our partners to make sure you’re only getting what’s needed—and that it's as seamless as possible.
